Having studied under various artist/teachers, I came upon a teacher of the 'Old Masters School'. Her method of teaching was to take you from basic perspectives, including all mediums, to producing an 'old masters' composition. After about 10 years, I then studied under a teacher whose medium was watercolors.

Recent exhibits include the Fredericksburg Recreational and Parks Bi-Annual Art Show, where I placed third for my charcoal rendering of Mohammed Ali and formerly placed Honorable Mention for an ink and watercolor rendering of the Harrison Road House. Other exhibitions include the Backdoor Gallery in Fredericksburg, and the featured artist at the Jarrett-Thor Fine Arts Gallery in Colonial Beach, Va.

After spending many years in “sales”, I have always considered myself to be an actor/performer. I have had to be 'on stage' every time I was in front of a customer. I have also enjoyed performing as my alter ego of 'OBOH' the clown.

Now, after 40 years of professional sales, I recently retired and, finally, I am now able to dedicate myself to my passion of the Arts and Drama.

I look forward to being a part of and contributing to the Beaufort Art Community.
