+ BAA Artist Biography -- Jacqueline Heather Jones

Jacqueline grew up in a large talented family that enjoyed studying art history, visiting art galleries, and creating art through sewing, needlework, costume making, ceramics, etc.

After retiring from the corporate world, Jacqueline decided to attack her “Life List” and pursue the world of Art Glass studying at LEB Glass Studio, Greenville, South Carolina. She opened up an inner rainbow of JOY by creating stained glass windows, lamps, mosaics, beads, fused glass jewelry, stained glass stepping stones!

In 2004, she relocated from the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Upstate of SC to the LowCountry. Jacqueline was re-energized to incorporate stained glass, natural elements along with other mediums and to attend workshops to grow as an artist. Jacqueline refers to herself as a “Renaissance Girl” because she strives to combine acrylics, watercolor, handmade paper, found objects and sometimes glass into a work of art. This road less traveled has opened another wonderful Art Avenue and adventure.

She feels that the world around us is so beautiful and to communicate that in various media’s is truly a joy and a journey! Jacqueline looks forward to creating new pieces in her kaleidoscope world and perhaps merging all these forces for a path of Surprise, Delight and Treasure!

Jacqueline is a member of the Beaufort Art Association, and the Dataw Island Visual Art Club. Her work is featured at the Association’s Gallery and Satellite Galleries as well as private collectors in the USA and the UK.

“Expressing yourself through Art brings your soul closer to the Creator”!
