Dear Art Association Members,

If I were to ask you what you want to do most at this point in your life, I bet the answer would be:

“All I want to do is make art….!” Well, I am right with you … and so are all of us!!

Making art is wonderful and yet somewhat of a privilege, just like someone once said: Art is the Ultimate Need as well as the Ultimate Luxury! The cherry on the cake is, of course, being able to show and share our work at our gallery, located in the very heart of this town! And think of this detail: we run this very real business with 60+ volunteers! That is a concept that would make any other business person turn pale and run for the hills! But WE do it!! And kudos to us!!

Of course, taking care of the business of running a gallery etc. does not happen by itself. (Yes, here it comes!)

It DOES take a village to make sure our organization will continue to thrive but many hands make light work. If having a gallery is important to you, if you are interested in helping to fulfill our mission, see if there is anything YOU can do to help, organize, assist or take on one of the many tasks that go into the business of business!!

Call our Gallery Manager, Tracy von Harten at (843)929-9799 or email her at tracyvon@icloud.com.

Or you can always contact me : 843 379 9510 or at hettypnijman@gmail.com

And Thank You!! Without you, nothing will happen!

Hetty

PS We have some great volunteer options listed in this newsletter below!

DID you know we have a new website design and a new sales process?

Wow – has there been a lot going on behind the scenes since the last newsletter went out!

For starters we have a new website design and a new simplified sales process! The new website design is off to a great start, looks great and will evolve over time as we progress.

Thank you to everyone who helped to get the website back up and running in time for all the wonderful upcoming events planned for September! And a big thank you, Bruce Morgan, for taking over the website and all the time and effort you put in!

The sales process is basically 4 steps and you’ll find directions posted at the desk.
